Conservation

This is not an exhaustive list, and could certainly be added to by other observers.

It contains national and internationally rare species of national/international importance, and also a globally rare and threatened habitat in terms of the River Wylye, a chalk stream, and nearby chalk downland.

All efforts should be made to preserve the presence of the species in this general area, and the habitats upon which they depend. And why not encourage more species to become regular visitors and residents?

Any further development of this area will threaten all of the species listed here.
