Just to let you know the Town Planning Advisory Group unanimously voted NOT to support the 2 Home Farm Speculative Planning applications last night. The Chair of the group is also the Steering Group lead for the NP rewrite and he also voted against the application. The NP Steering Group meet this week to finalise the NP Reg 14 rewrite to send to Wiltshire for approval.
The battle continues, as we have to now convince the Case Officer at Wiltshire Council (WC), and ultimately a WC Planning Committee , that Home Farm should not be developed.
You should also be aware we are, together with the Hotel, hiring a Planning Consultant and intend to use some £1,000 from the EBBRAG battle fund that you all so generously contributed to. The intention is that the Consultant will introduce new planning arguments against the development.
We also have to be aware that the developer will try and circumnavigate any objections by direct argument or mitigation.
